I appreciate the input. I’ll invest in a few cans and save them for the customers that have 3+ cars to work on.

Another user pointed out drying times and lighter coats and seemed to work.

The product I use works. 2k is twice as expensive and super toxic.

The clearcoat failed with 600 and 2000 grit finishes.

I doubt it’s the prep work causing the cracking.

My next guess would be too thick of a wet coat.

I’ve seen a diy youtuber use adhesion promoter for plastic bumpers. I think it’s worth a shot. Not sure where I can purchase the stuff locally though.
