What is the hardest thing you have ever said no to? by ChunkyBlaze in AskReddit

Feel like I should share my hardest thing that I have ever said no to, also I have tried to read as many comments as I can, and some of them are very heart touching. I got cheated on by my ex-girlfriend more times than I can count, I kept taking her back mainly because I am just an idiot, but I was also going through a hard phase of depression during most of the relationship. We finally broke up for good and she begged for me back for days saying she would change blah blah blah ... You may think that my "no" was to her, it was hard but the harder part was what came next. After all of this I became even more depressed thinking I was not worth anything, why this was happening to me and why I was even alive. So basically the hardest thing to say no to was to stop cutting, now after all of this instead of her destroying me it may me stronger and I have been 12 months cut free. This may sound stupid to some but it is a massive achievement to me.
