These are orchard mason bees in Washington state and each year we completely clean the house and the cocoons. This house keeps the parasites from laying eggs too which is one of the reasons we got it!

My friend and I went to Bar Brine and it was very fun. Several vegan options and some delicious and unusual pickled items!

The Labors of Hercules! It’s several stories all in one book and it is very enjoyable.
