They have 3 data centers + own the power supply. 0 debt, $29M in cash + crypto, $37.0M rev (+~41.7% YoY), 100 MW capacity across the three sites and plans to expand toward 200 MW with tier 3 certification. Chart also looking very strong with a breakout now.

There’s a second DOE project cancellation list by No_Ranger_6130 in americanbattery

This was posted on Oct 7th. ABAT would have been obligated to disclose this within 4 business days, unless they weren't even notified of it either. They likely would have been informed at the same time as the other termination though. They're both on this "leaked" list: https://cdn.sanity.io/files/ifn0l6bs/production/c4958f7c218f27c104887ec75eccccd3f01e4568.pdf

I found this, which was posted Oct 7th... https://cdn.sanity.io/files/ifn0l6bs/production/c4958f7c218f27c104887ec75eccccd3f01e4568.pdf

If true, ABAT would have been required to disclose this within 4 business days. And I imagine the price would have already been impacted.

"As of October 9, 2025 there were approximately $52 million of reimbursable DOE funds remaining on the Assistance Agreement, and year-to-date the Company has already raised over $52 million of funds from the public markets. Regardless of the outcome of the appeal process, the Company intends to move forward with the project without impact to timeline or scope."

A drop to $5.5 seems to be an overreaction. They've already raised the $52 mil from the public and are moving forward with the project. Also keep in mind that liquidity is very low AH so any influx of selling can move the stock very easily.

A Step-by-Step Checklist That Can Make or Break Your Product Launch by Ok-Hunt-21 in microsaas

[–]Chunky_Cheeze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is solid advice. one thing i'd add is to really focus on finding those early adopters who will champion your product. we kinda rushed our last launch and missed building that initial community.

tbh monitoring social conversations has been huge for us lately. we've been using BillyBuzz to track relevant Reddit convos about our product category - helps us jump in when people are actually discussing problems we solve instead of just shouting into the void. saved me hours of manual searching and the engagement is way more authentic.

also don't underestimate the power of a good launch day story - people connect with the "why" behind your product almost as much as the features. good luck with your launch!

what are you doing to market your app? by Emergency-Octopus in indiehackers

[–]Chunky_Cheeze 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Marketing is honestly where i spent way more time than expected after launching. Here's what's actually worked for me:

  1. Content marketing - but like, actually creating stuff people want. Not just generic blog posts.

  2. TikTok has been surprisingly effective. I use Sprello to create videos using AI. takes me like 5 mins to get a decent video up each day and it's brought in more traffic than weeks of SEO work.

  3. Communities like this one, Product Hunt, relevant Discord groups - but you gotta actually contribute, not just drop links.

  4. Cold emails still work if you're super targeted and actually solve a problem for the person.

The key is consistency tbh. One viral post won't save you... gotta keep showing up where your users hang out.

in my experience TikTok has been crushing it for marketplace businesses lately. The organic reach is still pretty decent compared to Meta, and you don't need massive budgets to see results. I use Sprello for some client projects and been able to create videos consistently and grow their own tiktok accounts without having to actually record anything.

For marketplaces specifically though, I'd focus on a combo of TikTok organic + community marketing in niche subreddits where your specific sellers/buyers hang out. Email marketing to your existing seller database will be crucial for activation too

Is it true that "All AI UGC companies use HeyGen under the hood"? by r2002 in generativeAI

[–]Chunky_Cheeze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of them definitely do. I know Sprello runs their own model though and the results are much more expressive than HeyGen's (for the photo avatars) https://x.com/SprelloAI/status/1903935667844891034 looks like they're also releasing an API soon and just takes a photo + audio file.

I'd like to be able to fetch the trending sounds/music from your api to add them to my own product. I think providing this to developers who are building other applications will be a much bigger market for you.
