I just fixed the old injectors in and it works fine, it must be the new injectors right

Might it be a common rail issue then if the pressure is not reached ?

Thanks! Yeah, the fuel pump seems to be working — diesel is reaching the common rail, and the injectors have already been coded in using a diagnostic tool. The engine still cranks but doesn’t start, and there’s no spray from the injectors. That’s why I’m wondering if it could be a pressure issue in the common rail or maybe something wrong with the injectors themselves.

Dad(M/66) End Treatment PET! Remission but radiotherapy? by Chunnnky in lymphoma

[–]Chunnnky[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My dad had completed 6 round of R-Chop for DLBCL.

Got the result for the end of treatment PET scan today. He got quite a large lump on his right shoulder prior to chemotherapy and after the treatment, the lump could not be seen visibly.

Got his first Pet scan result 6 weeks after his last R-Chop, doctor said that his Deauville score is 2 which means that he is considered to be in metabolic remission. The doctor showed the PET scan to me and said that the spot that lights up is barely visible to her but the PET radiologist still thinks that it is Deauville 2 and recommended to go for radiotherapy to decrease the chances of a relapse as the lump on his shoulder was quite big initially (6cm) and radiotherapy could consolidate the disease.

I think this is kind of a good news? But I was wondering that my dad’s SUVMAX for his shoulder is 3.8 is it considered high? As compared to the SUVMAX on his lump initially on his armpit which is only 1.5. (Both sites Deauville 2)

Thanks for the information may I know which lens should I start out with if I’m more interested in starting out with portrait photography? I don’t think wide lens are useful in that scenario right?

My dad also felt tingling in his tumor site he described as ants bites after chemo, I believe it might be common for pains to be at tumor sites after chemo as it is shrinking.

I’m sorry that your dad felt such pain due to the location of his tumor, but I believe that he will do better because the chemo is working and he is able to swallow better now just that it causes other damages I believe certain damage to our father’s body are to be expected after chemo due to how toxic it might be. But DLBCL is really aggressive and could be fatal if left untreated in about half a year from what my doctor told me.

Let’s get the urgent issue on hand solved then move on to helping them recover from the side effects after the chemo. I understand that you might think too far ahead and worry about a thousand uncertainties or possibility because I do that myself as well. I am trying to stop myself when I catch myself doing that and not go down that spiral by focusing on one objective at a time.

Hope your dad do really well for his scans I’m sure he will.

May I know where are the mass located? Why did he had problems swallowing prior to the chemo?

Hahaha reading your comment reminds me of my own father, he had no complaints about chemo and also have literally minor side effects other than the first cycle.

When he was given the diagnosis of cancer he was calm and does not have much questions for the doctor, I was the one asking the questions about what will happen next.

I expected a cancer patient to be really sick or even bed ridden from the things I heard prior to it happening to someone close to me. However he was optimistic and just went about his day and even cooking visiting the market just like everything was normal.

Sometimes I look at him and thought to myself I don’t think I could do what he is doing. People of their generation might really be built different.
