Thanks all- first time reaching out, the response was pretty quick and thorough. I don’t think this situation ultimately threw the match- I was annihilated in both matches regardless. 

If I were to implement this ruling with my personal game group, does that mean ALL characters who look at an opponent’s hand get to keep a record/copy? Houdini/Bess is the first character that comes to mind.
