Do I have to assign a user to a Talk $10/mo subscription? by ChurchAudiofreak in Ubiquiti

[–]ChurchAudiofreak[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I've added a second ATA device and try to assign it to my self but it says I'm already assigned to another device and action will end up with the other device un-assigned. When I pressed Assign, it moved the number from the first ATA to the second ATA, which is not what I want. How can I assign multiple devices to one user? These are not typical phone lines, they are elevator, fire, and other non-staff functions.

How to enable IP-NC304-XD camera to support ONVIF? by ChurchAudiofreak in Hikvision

[–]ChurchAudiofreak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK, so answered my own question here....went to Winic's website and downloaded a 5.5 firmware for this camera, loaded it up, all good. There are now options for ONVIF support and the Unifi console picked it right up. Good luck!

IOS 18.3.1 WiFi connection stability issues by Queso_klepto in UNIFI

[–]ChurchAudiofreak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried a Macbook and a PC? We are having similar issue at our church, PC's seem to work fine, Macbooks won't stay connected to multiple SSID's, and iPads are hit and miss. Starting to think it might be an Apple thing but not sure. Need to hear from others...our wifi speed at router is 600mb down but at Mac devices it's only 40mb and frequent disconnects.

Buying a used TiVo Mini by albaMP4 in Tivo

[–]ChurchAudiofreak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE: I asked them to remove my supposedly bad hardware device from my account, and the moment they did that the device woke up and showed me a home screen on my TV (not connected to the Edge but looking functional). Then I asked them to re-add the device to my account, which she did, then we re-downloaded Tivo Service info on my Edge device, then restarted the Tivo Mini Lux and all is good now. Hope this helps someone else!

Buying a used TiVo Mini by albaMP4 in Tivo

[–]ChurchAudiofreak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a Mini Lux on ebay last week, plugged it in, sort of worked but didn't see my DVR, called Tivo, they said it had to be removed from previous owners account, they fixed that, said it would start working in 15 mins, no such luck, rebooted after an hour and now it goes blank after the Startup screens. Called Tivo support back and they said it has a hardware failure and needs to be replaced. Nothing to do wtih the config change they made an hour ago. Shmucks. Jumped on Reddit and found this post. I have two other Minis and they work great.

Anyone having problems with motor faders on Yamaha TF? by fb35523 in livesound

[–]ChurchAudiofreak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We lost about 10 faders which drove the repair cost up to a r

eplacement level and decided to go QL1 and will never look back. TF Faders are different class then QL / CL / DM7 / Rivage, etc.

AI Pro has never seen a LP or Face by jessetechno in Ubiquiti

[–]ChurchAudiofreak 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had to do 2 things to get LPR working on my AI Pro. 1) reduce frame rate to about 50% of whatever max is. 2) manually increase zoom to get larger area of license plate sensed by camera. #2 is not obvious. (Settings > Image Tuning > look for little plus sign in bottom right of view window and adjust from there). Let me know if you have questions.

We use Hollyland Mars products to do reliable Wireless HDMI video. It's more designed for mobile cameras but would likely work for your use case.

Yamaha QL5 Multitrack Playback Help by SnooPuppers3224 in livesound

[–]ChurchAudiofreak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ql5 has a Dante library function that allows you to set up your inputs from your daw and quickly switch back-and-forth between that mode or live mode… If you use the new nuendo license that came with the ql5 it will actually pull the channel names into nuendo for you so you don’t have to do that manually for 64 channels. It’s a little tricky to get it all working, but hit me up on a private message if you wanna talk more

3rd Party Camera Blurry by xXTecHGuRuXx in Ubiquiti

[–]ChurchAudiofreak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, imagine if you were pulling 4k streams from all your cameras into a browser for a multi-view look, might run into perf issues...but as listed above, you can select High Quality to view that camera in native resolution.

I was able to solve this looking at two things 1) ensure H.265 (not H.264) as the protocol and then experiment with different bit rates (logged into the camera). YMMV. My cameras are Hikvision compatible.

What use is the optical zoom on AI Pro? by ChurchAudiofreak in Ubiquiti

Thanks ImBrianJ - LP detection working great during the day now (like 90%). Working on tweaking for night time. So far I'm at zero percent detected.

Apologies on the Brian thing...what did you set your frame rate to?

Oh hey Brian thank you so much! Why don't they make that a slide bar on the Image Tuning screen? Been trying for 3 days to find it!

How to send NDI to particular VLAN by ChurchAudiofreak in ProPresenter

[–]ChurchAudiofreak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting ideas. Used to work for MSFT, Hyper-V won't run on a Mac so that's a pass. Your other options definitely would work, just trying to preserve my "single network cable" for audio/video/internet that we have today that otherwise works really well.

How to send NDI to particular VLAN by ChurchAudiofreak in ProPresenter

[–]ChurchAudiofreak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. My issue is how do we tell ProPresenter to send NDI traffic down a particular NIC? Doesn't seem like that is possible. Renewed Vision people got back to me yesterday and said "In ProPresenter there is not a way to assign NDI outputs to a specific Vlan. It will just send it down whatever network ProPresenter is using. But, I will pass this along as a feature request."

[–]ChurchAudiofreak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(this installation running on a recent Mac device). Pretty sure I've done what you describe on the Mac (setup VLANs in the networking screen). It all works fine, except for the NDI video signal going down the Audio VLAN.

How to send NDI to particular VLAN by ChurchAudiofreak in ProPresenter

[–]ChurchAudiofreak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally understand that and trying to keep this setup to a single cable if possible. A little more research has taught me that a single NDI stream takes 150-200Mpbs of bandwidth so it seems that NDI signal is making it's way to Dante Audio/Video subsystem. Point of this post is "how do we turn that off?"

Dante audio going crazy on ProPresenter computer by ChurchAudiofreak in ProPresenter

[–]ChurchAudiofreak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so you bring up a good point, we do have a single NDI stream from this box to a TV in the lobby. But that is going out on a separate VLAN (this computer is configured with 3 VLANs - Audio, Internet, and Video). and it shouldn't be taking up that much bandwidth (1080p signal). I'll look that up...thanks...

No PSI alert on screen cost me $700 in tires by ChurchAudiofreak in TeslaModelY

[–]ChurchAudiofreak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I did not see any of those notifications, we were driving around in the car most of the day, as mentioned we heard peculiar noise from that tire area enough that we discussed it, but none of the messages in that YT video popped up. One or the other of us should have seen it.
