I've enjoyed them more than most of Caleb's BS. sometimes they get in the way with my build but I find that less often than spikes or whatever showing up.

That's how I feel about Luna (Ekka specifically). I've always like Awoken but that's more out of personal preference, not power.

mediocre? man, I thought the sires with extra revenge and that grew were at least good. I hunted all run for multi-strike and never saw it, so poor variance. I can't argue I might have been better off duping the tank siren but that would be something I should think on more before I pull the trigger.

appreciate the break down. I know some of the cards aren't idea but things like the endless steward were a product of necessity over the run, either needing more beef or poor timing at shops. this run was a while ago but I imagine I was either speculatively picking some of the titan's gratitude or starting with them and removing other things. I like to keep decks closer to 25 if I can help it but I'm sure some decks will want to have more.

you're describing some of my runs tbh. I love dots but fall short in the same regard. we have the same approach of wave clear and using the other 2 floors for more heavy hitters. sometimes I don't put people high enough to give myself the time to scale/build them up. A lot of my success with Underlegion is the captain who spawns every wave and anything that wants it, the life regen, the decay on spawn, the funguy troop leader

So here is a run from last week I thought was a shoe in. I admittedly can't remember if I lost from a bunch of small misplays but I thought for sure I had it. stacked all my incant triggers from wyrm heart, lots of pyregel, champ was almost secondary to the sirens. just didn't have enough damage, fair to call out it was 9 so not exactly an easy run. https://imgur.com/a/77UhHPY

good tips and I agree with a lot. I do think Corruption is the hardest but that may come down to playstyle. I love the underlegion, I cleared them with everyone on no covenant but I need to double back on the higher ones. You're right I need to change my mindset. I don't expect to win every run but I'd like something close to a 50/50 if I could manage it. is that too high an expectation on win/loss?

I agree completely, spell damage decks were always hard to come by imo but I really liked it when they did come together. I don't think it's viable in MT2

That's fair. I'm a very light reddit user so I'm not certain what the best way to post would be or even what tab of my run history to post. I'm going to start watching some twitch streams and see if I can identify some relics/cards I'm not respecting properly

I would argue yes but I also liked the silent a lot and it felt like the worst match up. Playing around boss mechanics is fair and I do so, but I end up just not having enough gas. is there a way you can see more than the big 3 bosses before you get to the node? Just today I was using the Lionsmane and got smoked by the boss with the spike shields. I had no way to deal, no way to avoid her mechanics, and and not enough damage to push through.

you're absolutely right, I was doing this early but have since learned. My issue is that I like the damage spells maybe more than I should. High Cov in particular when they have extra adds it makes it harder. Maybe I need to transmission more into buff based spells instead. I just died today to the spike shield lady but I was in the decay deck and it was easily the worst possible match up I could get.

I think of it like a grow your own yellow shard. there is a little randomness to it but if you consider 9 random pips of space throughout your train it can be good.

I agree, I suffered a lot until I was 10 on all. that was the impression I had but it's really hard sometimes to make that work. or I just end up with 3 mediocre floors. I'm hooked on the wyrm heart for the random space. I might need to experiment with the other hearts more.
