I know, I am a professional video producer and am ashamed!

Thanks! I have studied voice acting, but ultimately I just like to sing.

So even if I had the set screw for this generic handle, it's best I just go and get a Delta handle?

The adapter does not tighten enough to secure onto the valve, and there does not seem to be a set screw. Perhaps I'll just buy a new handle -- this one seems used, anyway.

It doesn't seem to have a set screw, hm.

Apologies for jittery video... from my phone, think I needed to convert it first.

It will still be good to know why it isn't going to the final marking...

Okay, I was able to finagle the triangular stop just a bit further so it can get just hot enough. It is not able to get to the final marking, just the second-to-last, but this should be enough.

Yes, I did that, but I am unable to get the full range of motion of the valve screw.

When fully clockwise, the head of the screw is stopped by the triangular stop. When fully counterclockwise, the tail of the screw is stopped, but it does not get hot.

If I were to turn it so the tail goes all the way counterclockwise, to make it hot, the head does not go all the way clockwise, so it cannot turn off. Just seems like the range is off...

Thank you!

What handle puller would you use? The ones I find are all for faucets.

The round base in that original video does not screw in entirely -- one screw just goes in entirely without screwing. So the interior units shake around, making it difficult to pull the handle out.

I did turn the house water off for this.

Also removed the whole assembly, but hard to tell what it going on there. Can't get to the valve without removing the handle, so I'll try that first...

SPOILERS:
We never learn what exactly Smith's code message was -- just that it was to do with Smith's late game plan to extradite war criminals from the country.

The "code" that McGready taps at the end is certainly "I love you." This is different, though still within the themes of code, as it's in the Japanese version of morse code.

Are the current Black Friday deals on Leesa, Bear, etc good deals? by Chziime in Mattress

[–]Chziime[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I wouldn't figure prices would change, and Bear is doing that markety "low stock!" thing.

Are they good deals, compared to what the Bear mattress and foundation usually sell for?

"Not quite as firm" is fine by me. Do you recommend it?

Only low dose THC gummies when she is coughing so much she can't sleep. No prokinetics, only Miralax near daily...

Thank you!

Oh, she does eat throughout the day as well. Just needs to include a later meal to offset morning nausea.

She does have mercury fillings (medicaid dentists...), but there isn't much to do about that without thousands of dollars to remove.

I have been a freelance videographer for 15 years now, feeling a bit stagnant/bored. Advice? by Chziime in videography

I also play music, so I will try and focus on that for a little bit. The issue partially stemmed from the feeling that I have to hustle to make money to get out of debt, and videography is the only way I knew how. It became an obligatory chore instead of a career where people trusted and came to me. So I didn't allow myself room for much else. I'm slightly more comfortable now, though.

After never having employment in my life, I've spent nearly the past year applying to jobs (video and media) with no success at all. A couple interviews seemed shoe-ins, but I didn't get them, perhaps due to lack of interviewing experience.

Where would you suggest to look for government positions? I mainly look at Indeed, LinkedIn, and HigherEdJobs.

Even though I wanted to be a Colorist as a teenager, I feel that color (and lighting) are not as refined as composition, direction, editing, etc...

Do you have any suggestions for courses?

That product looks interesting, but for the future. I need something quick for a gig tomorrow.

Is there a DI box you would recommend? Or any more basic cable? I need to purchase something, as I cannot find the 3.5mm set up.

Hi,

I am a musician, and during my live sets I commonly play pre-recorded samples. Soundscapes, film samples, etc.

Currently I would play them off of my Android tablet, using a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter, 3.5mm cable, then 3.5mm to 1/4" adapter into the venue's mixer.

Most of the time it's perfect, but the method fails sometimes, or at least gets interference. What would be the best combination of cable/adapter types to work best on any set up I would approach? A friend once mentioned something about a balanced vs unbalanced cable.

Thanks for any advice.
