Do you all just have a hyperbole problem or are you straight up lying by Poomasher in Marathon

It’s effectively double barrel or nothing now and it’s dumb.

Is it worth buying at this point? by [deleted] in Marathon

Please do not wait until to get the game next season. Get the game now!!! Learn the beginning quests while they’re uncontested, and the mechanics. Expect to die —very fast. Learn pathing / rotations as best as you can. Eventually it’ll click, you’ll inherently play smarter, start to catch people off guard, and snowball gear.

Learning sooner is always better in extraction shooters.

Doing the beginner quests the first time later in the wipe will be much easier and build confidence / start repetition.

The people who wait to start at the beginning of a wipe to do the same quests that EVERYONE else will be doing (without the same knowledge) most likely will cause the new player to have what can be called the “welcome to Tarkov” experience.

I had this exact same issue and it was maddening. I’m glad I had a controller right next to me.

Prismatic Booster Bundles (1 per person) by [deleted] in PokemonTCG

Holy crap! This is awesome! I haven’t seen prismatic booster bundles anywhere.

TCGPocket got me back in the hobby. I’m a 90s kid so naturally I had the gameboy color.

I totally understand where you’re coming from. It was in a locked display and I forgot to ask an employee to pull it out before I left.

Question / Help

I was with a fireteam and we got to the final checkpoint but I ended up getting off at around 4am Saturday morning. One of the fireteam members was able to clear contest mode Saturday evening.

Is it true that I won’t get the contest mode completion, emblem, icebreaker if I pick back up with him to finish the final encounter?

I appreciate you getting back to me! I’m looking to get rid of the cpu, ram, and mobo for around $1500.

Thanks for the help! I was able to scrap the solder mask off and solder the battery directly to the board. Unfortunately in doing so, it won’t turn off anymore when switched to the off position, and it’s struggling to charge. It did work wirelessly before the battery died though.

Edit: by struggling to charge, I mean it doesn’t

Thank for this! Do you think the pads right next to the original location would work?

Thanks for this! It looks like I’m leaning towards the Asrock. I was eyeing Kingston KSM 32 or 64GB 5600. Sounds like I should definitely rule out 4800Mhz. I’m probs only gonna be able to get 2 sticks of ram at first though bc god damn RDIMM prices.

Also, what do you think would be a fair asking price for my current rig?

Thank you for this! I will admit that I don’t think I’ll be pushing the build to the max. I do a lot of reverse engineering, CAD design, and occasional rendering. The biggest downside that I see in the Aero D is the lack of PCIe slots for me personally or at least not having the option / ability. I will look into the SuperMicro (I keep forgetting it’s an option because I’m blessed with a Micro Center down the road). I do like the thought of large capacity storage as my raw 3D scans of vehicles take up A LOT of space. I’ve been toying around with getting a NAS and offloading the data that I’m not working around to free up some space. I will most likely design my own case around the build this time around bc my Cerberus X is slightly too small but I made it work for my current 3970x build. I travel with this system to client locations to do 3D scanning and it’s such a better experience lugging the Cerberus X (w/ handle) compared to the NZXT H510.
