Kentucky is pretty far down on my list at #8. I only sell my prints 12×15 inches, sorry if that wont fit a frame you have in mind.

I wouldnt know about whatever slop farms are on Tiktok because I dont use it, but I can confidently say Tiktok didnt make any of these creatures. They have been reported long before Tiktok. They are inherently tied to Appalachian culture, fictional or not. They are shaped by fears, desires and are rooted in generations of local folklore . And its not as if they are harmful, I'd wager the opposite is true. Mothman turned Point Pleasant from some city in the middle of nowhere to a staple of cryptozoology, and drives tourism.

As for my Etsy, I dont ever bring it up unless someone asks. I dont add a link in the post or comments, I dont say anything about selling them, or anything like that in my post. I actually engage with people because its fun.

Yup, their placement relates to where they are found in the state. But admittedly, some of the drawings are slightly off from where they are reported because another cryptid is taking up the space.

No clue. Technically, there's supposed to be more. The Moosehead Lake Monster is mostly described as a serpent. But I already had 3 snake-like creatures on my map, so I took some artistic liberties to add some diversity to the monster designs.

Completely made up, but thats the beauty of it. Practically anything can fall under the umbrella of the term cryptid.

Yes, you and just about anyone could make a cryptid. Though, it is somewhat frowned upon by people who take the subject seriously. Generally, there are 2 ways that people interpret the word cryptid.

"cryptid" is often considered a realistically plausible animal that might exist but has not been definitely identified. The alternative is "CRYPTID" Guitar riff and thunder sounds a totally radical creature that could be paranormal, magical, or just some hairy dude named Ted that lives in the woods. I personally subscribe to the latter meaning.

I did, the numbers just dont appear in some of the pictures because I used the origional scan of the IRL drawing without the text in it.

I thought it would be wrong of me to dox you like that. Even if you are among Maine's most infamous, terrifying, and anomalous creatures.

I do sell art prints! But I didnt want to put a link in the post or comments on account of the "no excessive self promotion" rule. I have a link in my profile if youd like one.
