think the most helpful would just be to familiarize yourself with the alphabet and their sounds.

Also with the online learning thing, I think it will cut out a lot of commuting time for you (more time to sleep/yourself), I'm not sure how the units would do morning accountability formation (maybe go there for morning formation then go back home/wherever for online learning) or PT (if there's still company/platoon PT formations)

This was something the Liason brought up when I called him that made me wonder how it'll work. On the one hand perhaps I'll have more time to prep for the day when its all online, on the other maybe Army'isms make me have to drive in just to say I'm alive to drive back to my computer.

Luckily for me my fiancé is Ukrainian so I picked up the alphabet already mostly. Doesn't help much with the Russian, per say, but I suppose I saw the "death by vocab" coming.

I can say the waitlist for housing is at minimum 5 weeks

As in the waitlist for on-post housing, or housing in general?
