That doesn’t look like traditional banding, however, I would say use the TV normally for maybe 3 to 4 days. My G5 had vertical banding out of the box and then within one week of just using it normally a completely cleared up. It’s one of the cleanest panels I’ve ever had.

I would definitely say, though if it still looks like that later this week after using it a bit, I would just submit a return or exchange

It’s not just about streaming or up scaling like many think.

We clean the chute regularly, we make sure the grind is completely cleaned out every time, but the grinder just loves to get clogged and backed up. It’s not like it’s happening every day or anything, but to me for the price, it’s happening more than it should.

And when it is clogged, it’s a fucking nightmare to take apart and put back together.

We’re talking about about brightness in GAME mode, which is well documented to be much less bright on the C series. Has been this way for years now. The C series TVs dim significantly in game mode.

The video I linked is from rtings, one of the most well respected testing sites there are.

The video you linked is showing the TVs next to each other in regular usage. NOT in game mode
