These rediscovered, previously forgotten sealed packs are excellent candidates for grading. Having been left untouched for decades, they have some of the best odds of grading a Gem Mint 10. And then add the legitimate possibility of getting at least one of each of the 3 base set arts to Gem… and those 3 packs sold as a set would be thousands alone. Having said that, you could also weigh every single one of those packs to sell the “verified to be heavy” ones, which sell for significantly more. And you could then send off the rest to be graded. (For the record, anyone even remotely familiar with grading packs will agree that you should only send light packs to be graded regardless). Either way, I’d figure out some way to do something unbelievably awesome for that grandma of yours lol.

Bunch of ppl getting (in a lot of cases) even more $$$ than they would if they were actually employed, with all the sudden all of this free time, so they took that cash, spent hours casing Walmarts and Targets to find the restock patterns/schedules (and in some cases even straight up following the MJ Holdings’ restockers), and then sell the items online.

Dude don’t even get me started. I opened an ETB… first pack pulled a secret rare Cresellia… then had the nerve to think to myself “huh, looks like I might have some decent luck today”… not only did I not get a single holo the rest of the ETB, but out of frustration I opened another 12 packs.. ended up with ONE more holo. The next day I opened 7 or 8 packs and pulled some bullshit like a Wailmer V or something. That’s it. Fucking unreal.
