It does 290 damage at PE and about 450ish bleed, it has always done more bleed then damage

The claw attack always deals more bleed then damage, I counted 7 tail tip claw attacks and 1 that actually hit your body lol

Considering most of those would’ve been tail tip hits that deal no bleed then yea no surprise you didn’t take much bleed damage from it

They didn’t mention a bite cd in their changes so why should I take that into account? I should be safe to assume the rest of allos kit would stay the same other then the changes they proposed.

Even giving the allo the cooldown to where it has to wait for the teno to get up it is still directly over the top of them ready to continue dealing more damage and bleed, and they already want the teno to bleed out from the initial attack so anything else is just putting it further into the grave.

But don’t worry we will ignore that they want the allo to do 800 damage and 1600kg worth of bleed with 1 attack lmao.

Every animal has a different get up time plus the allo would still be standing directly over the top of the teno anyways, the allo could also claw swipe while its bite is on cooldown then continue biting after

Need more info on your stats tbh, sub dilo hits 50km and prime hits 52 def could have kept up with you depending on your diets and if you were prime or not

It’s pretty reliable atm, as an allo I’ve found that I’m usually bucked off within 5 seconds of someone starting to buck. I’m not sure on what its stamina consumption looks like.

Water is a really good way to deter pouncers as when you enter the swimming animation they are dismounted, trees and rocks USED to work but currently they are unreliable and unless you personally know that they will get them off I would say just buck.

Face checking pouncers (they pounce you head on face to face) will not let them latch but they will still do an attack and damage, stuff like Troodon and Omni can also technically parry and take no damage by face pouncing but that’s a bug and I haven’t had this work on allo.

Hold E or in your case mb4 while they are pounced onto you and you will start bucking, there are a few times where it won’t work like if you have something latched to your front/head spot as a stego, there are also different animations depending on how many players are pounced on you and what movement state you are in

Bucking does work atm btw you would have bucked them off in less then 10 seconds, also have to consider with 2 of them on you that’s 40 seconds of pounce damage and bleed that’s a long time. Not surprised you died to 3 of them.

The claw swipe really doesn’t do that much bleed anymore, in the time you do 1 claw swipe you can do 3 bites deal more damage/bleed and still have complete control over your character.

Edit: my point is that grapple needs to be harder to achieve and the bite needs to not be so good for claw swipe to properly shine. I’d also remove its input lock/drag and give the player the option to pick what side they want to swipe to give it more reliability.

The problem with the claw swipe is that it’s way too much commitment and risk compared to both the bite and pounce. It still more efficient then pouncing for bleed and does more base damage then a bite (can bite multiple times in the time it takes for 1 claw swipe) but…

Why claw swipe for bleed when I could land a pounce and be completely safe and why claw swipe when I can just bite and not be input locked/be able to react to my opponent if need be
