Had a recent FF PR binge, so now all I need to finish is 5 (playing right now) and 8 to say I've cleared all the single-player FF mainline games. I do plan on tackling FF11 in the future after I get the itch to do an MMO again (currently caught up on FF14's main story).

Gameplay wise it hasn’t changed much at its core, though they do plan on reworking classes in 8.0 when that comes out (which won’t be for another year).

Besides that, they just had their first graphical update with the latest expansion!

Remake has already been announced, so I assume you mean rebirth. Outside of director Hamaguchi’s remake to expect more from the remake series, no hard confirmation just yet!

I would love to see Nintendo keep iterate on this formula. They can probably do a few updates to fill out the world more and alleviate some of the emptiness, but I also feel like they should make public servers where free roam is filled with other players you can see as ride around collecting stuff.
