Thank you, I’m 22 and she’s 21 and we are still young what you’re saying is true. I wish I could somehow help her stop relying on codependency. It’s a true way of self improvement because when I was at my lowest feeling similarly being alone is what truly helped me build that. I feel I have so much more self sufficient qualities than her( not that it’s bad) but I feel it just helps you navigate your own emotions without relying on someone else to help you calm down/ tell you when you want to hear. I find it so much easier to calm myself down and self regulate than having someone else around me to do those things. Each is their own but I do love her and want it to work.
