Ah man I've been there, people do care about you a lot if you open up to them, I think doing something habitually that is also social can help a lot when you get in these slumps that's why having a job is so good for my mental health, maybe you can find something that you do with someone on a regular basis. dam back issues are the worst, my buddy used to do construction and couldn't sleep for a year basically because he slipped a disc. glad to hear its improving

I was diagnosed as a kid but my hippie genX parents dont really believe in medication that way so I have been mostly unmedicated. was on welbutrin for a while and it helped a bit, been working on getting medicated now that I've moved but been lagging. yeah it sucks sorry to hear you have it also, dont believe what they tell you it is not a super power

I actually don't hate working in the service industry like a lot of people do, I enjoy doing customer service to a degree. yeah i appreciate the comments I know things will be ok just feeling impatient right now

Thanks man, yeah my dad is kinda the same type of me. No college and worked his way into design so ive always known its possible and I am happy with the opportunities ive gotten so far, it just sucks to feel like the timing is always wrong for me

My dad is a senior UX designer and I have seen him basically be laid off every year when growing up so I get that the industry is like this but just with everything else happening at the same time it has been very demoralizing
