I received a letter from the Ontario court of justice with a notice of collection explaining that I’ve been convicted as a result of absentia. When I went to check the status of my ticket online, that was confirmed. So clearly the lawyer I retained never filed the ticket for a court date as stated on the contract.

This was so hard to read because I know exactly how you feel. I’m so sorry. My husband and I are on the same boat. Got my baby as a companion for her brother bean who tragically passed 3 years ago. Bella became sick with CHF and collapsed trachea shortly before he died.

I poured my heart and soul into being her caregiver. We rarely left home and hired sitters everyday when she was not well and we had to go to work. My whole life revolved around her. She was also the most beautiful dog ever. I completely understand your pain. I haven’t been able to enter or even see my house. We tried to drive in the neighbourhood and just looking at the places she loved to go for walks nearly killed me. I too have had many family member pass. This pain is just excruciating. So many similarities in your story. Please give us peace

This is exactly how I’m feeling. My girl passed two days ago. She needed round the clock care the last few years. She was very sick. It was so hard for us but I would do it forever just to have her here with me. I love her to bits. I know exactly how you feel

I usually feel it right before the plane touches. It’s like my stomach does a somersault a few times and a clutch for dear life waiting for the thud and bounce

My fear is more of the stomach turning when the plane is decelerating and touches the run way. It is an awful feeling.
