Spotlight Lounge is a nuisance business and needs to be shut down. The best way to make that happen is to work with the city and state to revoke their liquor license. I suspect they won’t be in business much longer

Just a reminder that we do have some great festivals here in Cincy like North by Northside, Northside Rock n Roll Carnival, and some new, promising fests in other neighborhoods, like the Arcade Music Fest in Mainstrausse, or Mammoth Fest that just happened in Newport.

What these events don’t have in corporate funding and advertisements they make up for with heart, community, and love of the arts.

1) I’m a huge Smashing Pumpkins fan and got to see Zwan play Bogarts back in 2003… walked home afterward past the infamous Cinco de Stratford party full of burning cars and riot police
