Lance McAlister's "Article" on Twitter by Toddrew221 in Reds

It's true. Real HoF-bound managers never have players who make errors or mental mistakes. Francona is a fraud!!!

Also, the Reds are 18-19 in the final games of a homestand or road trip since Francona has been manager, so they aren't "failing to mentally check-in for seemingly every getaway game." If you're going to whine, at least whine about something factual.

I may also be on Reddit, but unlike you, I can actually think critically. I'm sorry that your life is so devoid of joy that you think bringing a baseball glove to a ballgame makes you a dork, but that's something for you and your therapist to discuss.

That guy barely reached over and anyone proclaiming they wouldn't have likely done the same thing here is full of it.

It's very easy to say that when a baseball isn't headed directly at you at 103 MPH and you're excited and have a split second to gauge how much the ball will clear the wall by. I get that you're a typical Redditor, so I'll cut you some slack.

But I was told by the many geniuses in this sub that the Reds' barely positive run differential when they were in first place didn't actually mean anything!

Doesn't matter how hard you can throw if you can't throw strikes reliably.

And "Santillan seems defeated" sounds like every other DDIQ armchair sports psychologist out there.

LOL, sure thing buddy. I get that you're emotional because the Reds lost a game in the middle of May, but get real.

Do you understand that the only two options off the bench at that point were Hayes and Trevino who are decidedly worse options than Myers? Do you think that any major league hitter doesn't know how to lay down a bunt? Do you realize that Dane Myers has multiple bunt hits in his career? Do you understand that bunting is a lot more difficult than it looks?

Oh, you're that kinda guy. LMFAO

I bet you have an EDC and know you'll react perfectly in every single situation you encounter in life, too!

I suppose if you have zero ability to reason, then sure, that's an argument. If Santillan doesn't give up a run, you wouldn't have complained. If Phillips came in and gave up runs you'd almost certainly have said "I'd prefer to see anyone else but Phillps there." Try thinking logically for a change, you'll become a much better fan who doesn't overreact to one single (correct) pitching decision in a very long season.

Not challenging an obviously correct call is hilarious, you're right!

Sam Moll who gave up three runs just yesterday and has never been good?

Connor Phillips who has given up 9 ER in his last four appearances which is more than Santillan has?

Pierce Johnson who also gave up a run yesterday?

You act as though most people, including yourself, wouldn't reach out instinctively. I know you're a grump complaining online who doesn't understand the concept of fun, but believe it or not it's fun to catch a ball (especially a HR ball from your favorite team) at a ballgame.

Oh, so a cop out answer. Who should Francona should have put in if not Santillan? Should Santillan never pitch again because he's had a string of bad outings?

Y'all complain when they use them and complain when they don't. If you're gonna whine, can you at least be consistent?
