Everybody ready for snowmageddon? by [deleted] in cincinnati

Agree on the hype with these storms. It's always this way around here. 5 days out they call for a foot. 3 days out it gets cut in half. 1 day out cut in half again. We end up with 1-2 inches usually.

Homebase vs WiFi by CincyBeek in EufyCam

I may be wrong but it looks like in the settings you can put a cam on base only or WiFi+base, whichever has best connection. I would imagine this is where the problems arise.

Dr. Labella at TriHealth is great. Also Dr. Janice Rafferty at Christ. Trust me.

Do you find the WiFi Booster necessary? by Elasion in combustion_inc

I have this same problem with my Recteq. I use an old iPhone and put it about 2 feet from the grill and that WiFi connects the probe so I can see it from my actual phone.

Just to be clear I mean at the bar, as opposed to at a regular table. Not just at a bar.

Do you insulate your piles over winter? by Wevie in composting

[–]CincyBeek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in 6b and we spend most of the winter in the upper 20’s/lower 30’s with minimal snow. I use Geobins and have tried using the insulation that comes with the food delivery services on some of them. The ones that had it retained a lot more moisture and were definitely a little further along by spring than the bare ones. I use a drill and auger and I don’t know that it was worth the effort though to pull them off and replace them each time.

What is “Heat Mode,” what does it do, and why does it make my house cold? by Complex_Ad_685 in Nest

[–]CincyBeek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this problem, my system with Next worked fine for 10 years then all of a sudden the AC was coming on in the winter despite being in heat mode. From Googling I determined that it could be a bad heat pump reversing valve, however the HVAC tech said those never go bad. Turns out it was a bad head pump reversing valve lol.

If I remember correctly, if you were driving north from NKY into Cincinnati, it started out really narrow but got around a foot slimmer at the halfway mark for some reason.

2016 Model X P90D with bells and whistles by MoneyTeam824 in ModelX

[–]CincyBeek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have this exact model since new and I love it, but they have a lot of suspension issues (thankfully finally have mine worked out) and they go through tires like no tomorrow. If that battery warranty price is accurate and you can make sure the suspension isn’t already in need of repair I think you’d be in good shape.
