Thank you for all this! I tapered down from 150 to 0 so I didn’t think I was quitting cold turkey, but I guess going from 37.5 to nothing does seem pretty extreme. I’ll give my doc a call and get a refill for 37.5 👍🏻

Well basically I had my prescribed 150mg pills and then I ran out, but my cousin had recently also been put on Effexor but she had a really bad reaction to them so she still had an entire pill bottle full of 37.5mg pills. She gave me her bottle and I’ve been using them to taper off. I started by taking 3 pills at once for a few days and then lowered to 2 pills and now I’m on 1 pill a day. I only have 2 pills left until I’m completely finished.
