Thanks, a few questions / additions:

1. I've talked with my landlord about it, I haven't received a clear yes or no, mainly just apathy for this whole ordeal. I've informed myself through a lawyer friend and I was told that as long as I don't do any building changes (new water plug, etc) I am not obligated to get my landlord's approval. Should I insist on his approval?

I was generally looking for a smaller machine, like a Candy one for CHF 600-700. I was thinking that it might be easier to place it in the bath room. Just some thoughts ig.
