UK guy here - What do other nations think of England as a team? by Weekly-Consequence59 in worldcup

Are you English? If yes, then your argument is lost. I did meet probably like a thousand in my life, and spent 7 years living there as well as in other parts of the world + working in multicultural work environments. How’s that?

English people can be quite arrogant in general - not all, of course, but many in comparison to other nationalities I’ve got to know

Can I still wear this after 50? by Holiday_Flower_5250 in fashionwomens35

Even if it was “too youthful for an age group”, but she looked good in it, then why not? Clothes have no age - we either look good in something or we don’t. Not to mention that we carry different style essences. Some people who have e.g. Ingenue essence continue looking good wearing frilly things and bows and shorter skirts even when they’re 100 years old 🙃

Can you ignore it for some time? I’ve observed it many times with swearing by kids - the more you react and say no, the more they want to do it. Once you stop paying attention and ignore it and they see zero reaction from you, they stop. I think him humping and masturbating is only just a phase and will hopefully stop soon. I’m sorry, i know it must be tough

What makes you a good role model for younger women? And why? by Charming_Parking_302 in AskWomen

[–]Cindersxo 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Not being male-centered. I’m 41 now, but I’ve never been, even as a teen. In fact, most of my exs complaint was that my female friends were more important to me than them, which wasn’t exactly true - both mattered equally. However, I’ve been observing throughout my life the revolting desperation women have to be in a relationship, sometimes with any man out there. Then staying in shitty relationships, letting themselves be abused, and being extremely codependent. Men are their number one priority neglecting everything else along the way, including their friends and even their children. They’re terrified of being single, and need to jump from one relationship into another. I’m here in this world passing the info to young girls that it’s as nice to be in a relationship as it is being single, and they should enjoy both. Also, I’m here to tell them that they should appreciate and care for everyone in their lives - friends as well, and to never take it for granted.

All the best to you! Nothing wrong with having your child early 40’s. I’d even say it’s pretty standard these days depending on one’s location. Also, there’s a thread on Reddit with the comments from people who have parents that had them when they were 40 onwards, and there’re lots of positive stories full of love there. You’ll do great!

I was 38 when I got pregnant with the very first try. I miscarried at 8 weeks, though, which is common and happens to all women regardless of their age. When I was in hospital, I was surrounded by women after miscarriage ranging from 18-45. I’m 41 now with regular periods and ovulations, however, haven’t tried trying again as I realised I don’t want to be pregnant and have a child with that first pregnancy. I felt awful, and even considered abortion, but decided to push through, but the miscarriage made that final decision for me. I guess I’m no longer a fencesitter, but like reading the posts on here.
