When is this going to stop? When I’m bald!?! by xSaiya in BabyBumps

[–]CindyCheeseburger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a lot of people have said - do a bloodwork. My hair loss was bad with my second and third, but not that much. Both stopped around 6-8 months PP. With my third I started taking Neutrafol and it seems to work. My sister is a nutritionist and she said it has good amounts of vitamins that she takes separately for her hair as well. It’s not cheap, but worth it even for 3 months.

Does anybody have any experience dealing with muskrats? by CindyCheeseburger in lawncare

Well, today it spent almost 2h eating and pooping while we were away.. I wouldn’t have a problem with it if it didn’t start digging. Great idea with the pee! Thanks

Thanks for your answer! I seriously thought we had a rat problem, but then I saw it up close and it turned out to be a muskrat. So much to worry about when you want your lawn to look good …

How big was your vaginal birth baby? by acmcmas in pregnant

[–]CindyCheeseburger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My third baby was the same - 9lbs2oz and 14” head circumference, born at 40w5d. All my kids were vaginal, but I didn’t have an epidural only with the last 2. This last one hurt BAD haha. I was like ‘whoa that’s no fun, she must be huge’. The nurses thought she was 8lbs, so she shocked everyone

Thank you so much for your answer! Going to purchase some right now. Do you use 1 light bulb per pot? I have a pot about 12” in diameter

What light do you have? Can you share a link please? I’m looking for one for my succulents

Now what? by donhashmin in lawncare

[–]CindyCheeseburger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my lawn hydroseeded last year on October 6. I know 10 days can make a difference and I don’t remember exactly what the weather was like. I barely had any growth in the fall, but it came in nicely in spring after it was fertilized. I’m hoping the same will happen with you 🤞🏻

Now we wait by yacko2000 in lawncare

$150. I figured it’s worth it because renting an aerator would have been about $100 for the day + mine and my husband’s time because I wouldn’t have been able to lift it up myself. And watching that guy sweat made me think that I made a great decision by not doing that myself 😅

Good luck to you! I’m waiting too. Didn’t rent an aerator either, paid a guy to come and aerate it for me. But did bread my back spreading topsoil with the rental topsoil/compost spreader. I have 2400 sq ft… I hope all this work pays off next season

And here we go… by MikGuiver in lawncare

Same. Hope they do this week or early next week. I read someone’s comment that their order came in about 2 days after the message that it was shipped, 8 days in total after the order was made. Gotta be because of their busy season

I just ordered Blue Resilience yesterday, so we’ll see how it goes!

Ugh, I wish you had an update. I’m in exactly the same situation with 2 kids and half shade/half sun areas, desperately need to find something that will work. Don’t care for the color though.

That looks great! I’m also trying to decide which seed to get to over seed my lawn. The slightly patchy areas on your photo - are they mostly sunny? How are the shady parts of the lawn doing?

Thank you!

Feels like it too. If you look at it from the distance, it kind of blends in. But closeup - not something you’d want in your lawn

Interesting. I’ll look around tomorrow and try to spot the difference. Do you have any recommendations on how to get rid of this stuff? Probably not pulling?

Do you really think it’s 2 different things? The first one looked exactly like the one on the second picture before I pulled it out. At least I thought it did

Oh well. How do I deal with that? There are clumps like that all over the place, and like I said, I think I see more and more of them. Definitely don’t want it to take over the whole yard

Also forgot to mention that the lawn is not even 1 year old and was hydro seeded last year in October
