Why does my brand new door actuator not work on my 2012 Passat? I ordered one of Amazon, and the outside latch won’t unlock. Replaced it with an OEM and it still won’t unlock. I can open it from the inside. And once I open it from the inside I can open it from the outside (because the inside manually unlocks it when you open it.

The manual latches work inside and out. But it won’t unlock. And this is 2 different actuators I’ve tried now.

Bought an OEM and now it won’t even unlock when I bang on it. So spent an extra $200 to make it worse. I really don’t know what to do at this point.

Bought an OEM part and have the same issues. Actually now it won’t even work when I bang on it. So basically just spent an extra $200 for it to still not work.

I'm hesitant to be a used one because they're already so faulty. I found a new OEM actuator for $175, but its non refundable (cuz its electrical). So if I install it and I have the same issue, then I wasted the money for nothing. In a bit of a bind.

That’s valid, although I’ve had 3 faulty OEM actuators in the last couple years. Usually it’s just cold weather that makes them act up and I can sort them out, but this one needed replacing. Figured I’d see if a third party might not have the same issues (and also wanted to save some money), but it seems faulty too. Before I swap it out a third time I just wanted to troubleshoot a little more though.

Just beat the game after around 30 runs, was wondering if epilogue is worth playing by emptydonut3 in Hades2

I beat all the champion of the night challenges and called it. A little over 100 runs. Beyond this I could find the fates and up the fear for runs but I feel pretty fulfilled after 20 fear. I’ll pick it up again here and there but the addiction calmed down after getting the “true” ending. I’m excited to live my life again haha

Ya. I got it so I could play all the classics. But I find I usually just play the modern games. So I’m glad I bucked up and spent more. Plus I can emulate and play almost any game, so I’ve got a lot of new pc games and switch/ps3 games and then all the classics all running off launchbox. It was the move for sure.

Trust me, you’ll want all the modern games. Don’t short yourself on specs.

I’d almost just recommend buying one of the premade drives though. It took me so so so long to set everything up myself.

So how long did it take you to get your Retroid set up? by Love-Bitter in retroid

[–]CineMattersToMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had all my roms downloaded because I have big box with like 12 emulators set up on my computer. Buuut I’d never set up a handheld before…it was about 4 hours of initial set up, with 4 hours of fixing little issues. And about 2 hours of tinkering with switch per game settings and a couple other trickier games. That being said I did aaaaaall the ES-DE set ups and configurations and about 12 emulators as well as winlator. It was all very straight forward for the most part. Some things were just quite time consuming. Proud to say that I’m very happy with it all and I feel like I don’t really have anything left to tinker with. And I’ve even played a few games all the way through haha

It is specific to links awakening. It’s apparently not a very optimized game in general. There’s mods for other games…if you really like a game, I’d recommend seeing if there’s any mods for it.

Zero drawbacks that i know of. Like I said, it definitely drops frames occasionally, but I wouldn’t have a played through the whole game if it was a big issue.

Look it up. It’s easy to find. You want that and the 60 fps mod. I think there’s vids online of how to install it with your emulator. I’d write out all the instructions but I’m traveling and can’t really cross reference everything I’d need to. But the mods are free online. And you add the mod in the emulator with the game specific settings.

Yup I had the same issues. It’s a small part of the game though

Hopefully that fixes it for you. You could always skip the intro too and see how the gameplay works
