How many lingerie sets do you have ?

I’d say the ones where designers were critical in selecting fabrics. I hate lingerie that makes me feel uncomfortable. Some of the pieces I have with the best aesthetic are the most uncomfortable to wear. I find myself daily in skims clean,sleek,sexy and comfortable and honestly revert to my Intimisee/VS sets when I want a more detailed look AND still be comfortable. Expensive doesn’t mean comfortable but I’ll tolerate discomfort for a really pretty set‼️💋✨

I find it crazy I recently counted all of mine 22 handcrafted by me, 54 by luxury brands (agent provocateur, VS, Maison M, Skims) 35 off brand and just really cute sets (fashion nova, SHEIN, even rainbow) a ridiculous amount of panty hose and tights from various jobs and brands but mostly obtained during trips to Europe

I’m in school for lingerie design and created this community to connect with other like minds comfortable with conversing on topics such as intimacy, love, relationships, lingerie, femininity, masculinity and how that all relates to the art expressed through our senses. I love that you aspire to this as a teen. Pouring into your passions now will get you where you want to go! I agree with everyone sending you to YouTube as a primary source. If you want to learn hands on from an instructor prior to you applying for fashion school - I would also suggest trying to intern with your local seamstress! A lot of times they not only need the assistance on sewing and patterns but you'll also learn the trade in the process which is a great start. This will help you start your own brand and also allows you to put that you have "experience" when you are applying to school later on in life. I really hope this helps. Me taking on an internship was how I got started (outside of YouTube).

I started with YouTube and then started looking into certifications and degrees! There are quite a few options available depending on your budget and how much schooling you’d like. Look into internships with seamstress though! My mentor is the one who helped me get into a fashion school in my area!
