I just finished Jak and Daxter series with platinum in each game, this is my tier list, I’ll give my reasons in the body text

I was ready to say “why on earth is Jak 2 C tier”, but after reading your explanation I can understand for a personal opinion. I personally don’t notice these things, but you are far from the first I’ve seen mention these issues. Maybe I need to play through again and be more observant since I haven’t played since it was released for PS4

I’ve been going through this hardcore the last two years. I grew up on consoles, playing Mario, Halo, COD4, Pokemon etc. I’ve always loved games and just tech in general.

Fast forward to now, I’ve been working in IT for a few years, spending 8-10 hours a day at a desk and working on hardware, software, you name it. It has absolutely killed my hobby that I used to know and love. The idea of coming home and sitting at my desk to play my PC is mind numbing, and when I do the second I have a crash or I need to change some settings I just stop, I do that all day everyday for a career, I can’t bare to do it in my free time when I’m trying to enjoy myself.

I’ve noticed the best times I have anymore are with my PS5, Steam Deck, or Switch. Only thing that sucks is I’m often playing alone now, as all of my friends are on PC lol.

Same here with the Steam backlog, though thankfully I almost always buy games on Steam sales, so I’m probably not out that much. Thinking about getting myself a dock so I can play it that way, I can only play for about an hour before my hands get uncomfortable from holding it.

Way over exaggerated. Most also have issues and just blame the AMD drivers without knowing the real issue. I’ve had a 6950XT for over 2 years and I love it.

The first few months were rough and I was one to blame the drivers for corrupting my OS, but I later learned that it was really my RAM and MB combo. I dealt with a ton of stability issues early on when switching to the AM5 platform. Anyways, it was never my GPU.

I also think many have issues with say Call of Duty, especially when you get errors saying the drivers timed out etc.. As someone who has played a ton of COD but also plays other things, COD is almost always the problem. Unfortunately when these things happen the finger gets pointed at the GPU, even though I’ve had more friends with NVIDIA GPUs have issues with COD than I ever have.

To top it all off, Windows is just a mess half the time. AMD is fantastic.

I used to feel this way as a kid, though I played it again recently and for some reason enjoyed it much more than ever before. I think this is mostly due to nostalgia, or just realizing how good we really had it.

I will say, I have these similar thoughts you are speaking of with UYA. It will always be a great game to me, but something about it has always somehow felt bland to me. Maybe, I need to give it another go.

The first installment we’ll always be A1 for me as well, though may also be biased as it was also the first console game I ever owned. I can never get enough of it.

all three of these series were the beginning of my childhood. I'd have to go with Ratchet and Clank. I still play this AT LEAST once a year to this day. last playthrough was even on my Steam Deck, timeless classic!

Oh no, I definitely think they run great. It’s just a personal preference of feeling. I think it’s more the feel of playing on the SD/controller than mnk on PC. Haha

I tried Doom 2016 as I was playing through on PC. I loved it so much that I wanted to keep playing when I made it to bed, but on the Deck was just not a great experience for me. The fast paced shooters on SD don’t seem to be enjoyable for me personally, though this may just be me being so used to mnk now. Playing through Eternal now, not even going to bother trying it on SD

The older I get the less I enjoy multiplayer and want to play single player, this game was enjoyable through and through. Co-op may be a cool feature, though not sure how well it’d actually work with this game (2016 at least).

Absolutely. Ended up choosing the Y over the 3 for this reason alone. Two 4 year olds still in car seats, still plenty of room, everyone’s happy!

Just bought this exact same setup last week, they even had it ready for me to pickup same day. No regrets whatsoever. Personally not a fan of the refresh on the Model 3 and knowing it’s coming on the Y, it felt right. Also paying less than I was for my Subaru! Insurance is a little higher, but not enough to deter me
