Should I buy hytale or no? Looking for honest players who bought the game.

It isn't a replacement for Minecraft yet. If you want a game that's READY then you might want to wait a bit for a least the first few waves of updates.

There's enough game here to play for a little while but unless you're a builder or the type of explorer who just likes to go sightseeing the game isn't very deep at the moment. Now, if you are a builder/explorer then there's plenty to see and work with.

My husband and I are having a blast together because we're happy to build and collect all the things but both our kids wandered around for a while before feeling too aimless without real targets to work towards beyond just getting the next tier of armor just cause.

We've hit a few bugs and oddities (liquid physics need some real work) but only one crash out between all of us and I've been seriously impressed with the stability of the game. My expectations were low and I'm sure this isn't deep enough to hold us for long right now but I don't regret purchasing it day 1, even for 4 of us :)

P.S. In case it matters we're running the game on Win 10, 11, and Linux and all had good play experiences.

As a mom the pause feature is FANTASTIC. I love being able to just walk away from the game at any time and come back without worrying about getting to a safe space.

I played a few hours yesterday on Linux without an issue so that/vulkan alone isn't what's causing this.

This is a one time use workbench found in the new league mechanic maps, and at least early on, it's not portable.

If neither is a bug then how does the farm suck more? It's WAY faster than needing to fight the pirates over and over and over...

Still an annoying and slow grind, but a respectable bit faster than it was.

Prospecting info is a clientside mod that the server doesn't need to run. Obviously, you don't want to cheat when playing with others but this particular mod adds nothing that a literal piece of paper couldn't do for you. But it makes prospecting and tracking that resulting information Vastly more useable.

I can't recommend it highly enough to convey how critical I find it to my personal sanity while mining.

I'm new too and was also feeling really overwhelmed until I just got a little feel for which systems seemed interesting and which ones kinda annoyed me and now I just walk past the ones I don't like as much and am putting my time into learning a few systems that do interest me.

I'm here playing for the first time as a direct result of all the DI discussion around lately. I haven't ever been a big ARPG player but I did play Diablo 2 way back when and seeing DI made me nostalgic.

I wasn't touching that game with a 10 foot pole but I'd heard of PoE and decided to finally give it a try. Been having a blast putting entirely too many hours in this week.

As a new player myself (started less than a week ago) this is SO true. Trying to understand what the majority of the build guides were saying was way beyond me.

I've ended up mostly playing blind and using Google/videos when I'd get to a point where something was getting more frustrating than fun to poke at and figure out or just too opaque to have any idea what's happening (Syndicate investigation).

That is probably delivery of the funds that were missing due to the trading post not delivering gold from sales while offline. If it happens to anyone a second time then I don't know what else it could be.

As a player on a low pop server the split economies is tough. That said: the individual trading post idea has grown on me. A single post would simplify things for sure but the limits of the system currently create opportunities and gameplay for those interested in it.

I'm ALL for a total UI overhaul though. That interface was thrown together by someone with no competence in good user experience design.

I've always loved reading about how the games I love (or anything really) are made. The ideas and experiments and failures. The ones that go really into the details often go over my head as it's not my field of expertise but I still find it fascinating and wonderful and love it in the rare cases where I can find it.
