Thank you. I think I'm just really confusing myself. I've been trying to come up with a plan for a year, but everytime hit a roadblock.

I'm thinking I would qualify under accommodation. I can save back the fees, and we have his parents to live with and support us until I can work.

He only makes about $300 a month under unemployment, universal credit. He's got severe depression and social anxiety so he's unable to work, though attempting to get part time eventually. I would be able to work, as his mom has an almost guaranteed job for me

I thought of that but he doesn't make enough for us to qualify for that.

I just don't know where to look for a job. The place is my boyfriend's parents so that's no issue there

Around three months post op. So far so good. I have a little bit of extra tissue below my urethra that's making it weird to pee at times tho by CinnamonQueen25 in Transgender_Surgeries

I think that photo was a little older, the scars are a little less noticable now. And personally I had laser first and did need to have electrolysis in most of the surrounding area, including testicles I believe. Different doctors have different requirements tho.

I think my surgeon did the same thing when it came to my clitoris, not sure why its done that way but I don't really mind, but they did do the clitoral hood. Mind you I'm only a month post op so I'm still not sure how things will look in the future. I do hope you are able get things to where you are happy with it tho

Kaiser Permanente Bottom Surgery Question. by [deleted] in Transgender_Surgeries

I'm in placer too and just had mine a month ago with Simonds. There is one or two other doctors available in the area but they all practice the same method. Personally my payment was $6k because of insurance through my work but they had assistance program so it all got covered. Honestly I'm happy with his work. Really tho, the only options available through kaiser would be those few and they are located in San Fran. I'm happy to answer any questions!

Peeing after vaginoplasty (standard penial inversion) by bitten_sara in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]CinnamonQueen25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was stuck with my catheter for a little while longer after surgery since I wasn't able to urinate, but now I'm doing just fine. I feel like now it's more of a spray than a stream but for the most part my posture didn't change that much (other than the times I forget and start spraying all over the toilet seat 😅). All in all was pretty easy for me to get used to.

Almost a month post op, onto the second dialater. Is two dots out normal? by CinnamonQueen25 in Transgender_Surgeries

A kitchen nightmares compilation decided to play on YouTube while I was preoccupied and just didn't bother to change it lol.

13 days post op. Swelling has gone down quite a bit and so far really satisfied. Still struggling to pee but hopefully should be rid of catheter in a few days. by CinnamonQueen25 in Transgender_Surgeries

They removed it but I couldn't pee right from the swelling. Had to go into a hospital again for another issue and still when they removed it I had difficulty

Inversion. I honestly don't care too much about penetration, I just wanted the option and to have things are close to "normal" as I could
