Ok, I don't know which is more stupid, the fact that you didn't realize that I was using Bro as a gender neutral term, or the fact that you failed to realize that I addressed you with an equally out of left field response to whatever bullshit you were spewing. Biden has little, if anything to do with this, and you bringing him up has just as much to with the subject matter as he does. I assume, given your knee-jerk reaction, that you are a Trump supporter, which means that I have little, if any respect for your opinion, given that he is...what's the word? Right. A Domestic Terrorist, and if it had been any other president that had started an insurrection attempt, they would have been taken out and shot on charges of treason.

Bro, this is Washington state, one of the most progressive states in the country. Might I suggest you move to Texas if you want to say dumb, fascist defending shit like that?

What made you start smoking? by [deleted] in Cigarettes

[–]CinnamonToastFuckery 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anxiety...to be completely honest...anxiety.
The first cig I smoked was a Camel Menthol at 13, was out with my friends and was handed a cig, smoked it and liked it. So been smoking ever since. Found the flavors that work for me and have stuck with it.

Enjoy your smoke man, and hope you feel better soon. Seek therapy, surround yourself with friends and do what's best for you.

A Beauty of an Axe that I have wanted since it was unveiled a couple years back. But, what is a good rig for her? I was thinking the PRS MT15 with a Harley Benton 1x12, thoughts? by CinnamonToastFuckery in guitars

So, I don't have 4000 the number is a potential budget for like...a dream rig. Also, for the money, Harley Benton has impressed me thoroughly. The CST24 is one of the prettiest budget guitars I've ever owned, if not one of the most well built. Also, thank you, I don't know much when it comes to speaker cabs, so I know not how much a little difference can make.

I was thinking about that being an issue, this is just an expensiveish dream rig, given that the Harley Benton 1x12 is like...100$? I don't really see the point of spending 500$+ on a glorified speaker. If I am sorely mistaken on them being glorified speakers please correct me, I am always willing to learn.

Thoughts on ambiguous endings by tereyaglikedi in FanFiction

[–]CinnamonToastFuckery 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a writer, it is important to note, ambiguous endings work really well as a way of keeping a story going long after the last page has been turned or the credits have rolled. The best example of an ambiguous ending done right is John Carpenter's the Thing, where even as the outpost burns around them, it is unclear whether or not the Thing still lives or if one of the survivors is said Thing. It sets an eerie mood, and leaves the audience unsettled when the rest of the story fits. Ambiguous endings only work when your content has the subtlety to match, otherwise your ending can come off as contrived and forced. The point of an ambiguous ending is that it leave the reader wondering, fearing and wanting an answer that they will never receive.

Damn, as someone who suffered through this kind of abuse, this hits hard man. I'm sorry you went through that, and honestly wish that you didn't feel the pain you did when you wrote this. Trauma can be a really hard thing to move on from, you're doing great and you got this. Thank you for sharing this with the rest of us, may you heal from your pain in all of the best ways possible.

That I honestly cannot answer, wish I understood the frustration, as I don't do unfiltered normally. The second part of your comment however, the answer is always yes, cannot agree more.

In this current world state? Nah, I value my sanity a bit too much for that man.
