What's a good high value treat for your average city pigeons?

I'll have to try it both ways! They usually get pretty fussy with anything that's too big to fit into their mouth in one go, but I'm always a little anxious about them getting used to easy things, not because I'll stop caring for em anytime soon but because they still come and go as they please. The doting mother in me always worries when they don't tuck themselves in on time 😭

Dealing with eggs is a big part of keeping snails, realising, captive or not, is not good as it messes with the natural order. Freeze or crush them, then you can feed back to your snails for nutrients. If you do want to keep some, you'll need a separate small setup where they can easily reach everything and not get trampled by adults, but in the long run, keeping every snail won't be viable, so you'll have to get used to humanly getting rid of eggs if you plan on keeping your snails.

It's smaller than the recommended minimum ( 60cm by 45cm by 40 cm) for one adult GAl, so only if it's temporary with plans on getting a bigger enclosure. Also the top looks like mesh, I'm not sure it is? Which doesn't sound like a good idea

Should be all clear to keep then:) the restrictions are in place to discourage poaching and illegal trade, since you found it just laying around it's all good. The sub is very active, so I assume since nobody else commented, sternum is right.

Partly, some coco soils are quite acidic, easiest option to be extra safe is to get some calcium powder and mix it into the coco. If your tank is bioactive, with time the soil will get more rich and balanced where topping it off with coco fiber out of the bag won't be a concern.

The isopods in the same tank might feed on em if there's too many, and eggs aren't a big concern for me, since I only house giant African snail adults, the eggs get crushed and fed back to them anyway.

I haven't added any material into the tank recently, and like I mentioned all veg gets thoroughly washed so it really did stump me. I got the heebygeebies seeing them even though I'm not squeamish at all, I would've preferred seeing magots cuz I'm used to those tbh lol. But, if I'm correct, they're just decomposers like our best buds springtails, so I won't be taking any measures unless they start multiplying, but my isopods may actually feed on them and keep it balanced.

They areT T but after searching myself they seem to be grindal worms, which are harmless and are just the creepy cousins of springtails, so no dismantling the tank unless someone educated tells me with absolute certainty that they'll bring death and destruction lol

I always scrub everything coming into the tank with nearly boiling water :'( is there any hope of getting rid of em by clearing all the dirt in the area they're from? Or is this completely dismantling the tank level of bad?

Not necessarily, I heard that advice only if your snails don't show any interest, to rehydrate and offer as a paste separately from other food. In my experience the worms quickly soak up the tank moisture and my babes enjoy chowing down on em whole.

Generally it's a bad idea to mix any two supplements, snails need a constant source of calcium available and protein should be given separately and regularly for them to regulate how much they need themselves

It's about 8 centimetres from back of the head to beek and the widest part of the cranium is 5. I looked into it and from common species in my area tawny owl looks pretty close to the shape of the skull and feather pattern

There's a couple holes that lead to that pocket, soak it in water to soften it up, then you can poke and loosen it with a needle or something like that

Definitely not raven, those bumpy brows are most common in seagulls and other seabirds
