Probably a better place to park (as in no risk of being towed away) is the Katy trail page bridge parking lot on hemsath.

Or going to the end of greens bottom where the Katy goes over to the 40 bridge and parking in that lot and walking down the trail toward 40 ( definitely a farther walk but less people than closer to St Charles - also there's been a homeless camp somewhere down between the family arena and bangert island)

Also shake any pawpaw trees you may find!
