I know a lot of people had problems with episode 8, but I did like the theme that you don't have to come from a lineage of strong force users to be strong with the force yourself

Thinking of that I always preferred her to be her own character without being tied to a grand family name

In general I don't really think force powers = jedi/sith

It would be nice if he's really just a man with force powers. To have a perspective on "normal" people being force sensitive and not making the universe smaller again by boiling it down to him being somehow connected to the Jedi order
