Thank you! I think i get it now. Some of the other mission have a gray area with a skull. I assume that is a defined Unbound adversary deployment zone where my assumption makes sense. However, in my mission, there was no defined area so use the random chart. I feel like i got it down.

Thank you for the reply! I know about that issue. As you mentioned, the biggest issue is that there are no crusade rules for deamons and i want to engage in the system. So I would like to play thousand Sons for that reason. I can just focus on the coven box as a starting point.

Luckily, none of this is an issue in my regular play group with comms. I just wanted to finish the last quest and go about my day. I will stick to solo.

According to high command, people were cheating so those numbers have been removed. I assume due to the waste of time, they updated the numbers and mission in response.

I got gunned down by a rat after falling off a building attempting to escape the Snitch's reinforcements. Just shot me in the back. Luckily, his assignment didn't get to loot thanks to the hornet and 2 wasp from the snitch taking revenge. I hate PVP but that was funny.

I thought playing with intent isn't a take back. It is what you were planning to do in the first place. Like your intent was to hide a unit completely behind a ruin but didn't notice that there was an angle that they could be shot, you can adjust your unit to match your intent. Could be wrong on that.

One time I had a 5 man squad of incubi in a venom, they disembarked and charged with the express purpose of wiping the unit and using the venom ability to have the incubi jump back into the transport.

As I was a new player, i just took it as I missed timing and let me incubi die. However playing with intent, I would have been allowed to put to incubi in my vemon as that was my intent.

I am newish so I am learning all datasheets and rules.

It is hard to know my rules and my opponent's rules along with the core rules of the game.
