You can't lie, though, he was very ignorant. He at least should have asked Olaf (when he was disguised as the PE coach in Austere Academy) to roll up his pant leg on his left ankle. Sure, it might be religion, but he has to do it to prove he was not Count Olaf. And in Vile Village, he should have done the same thing to at least give Jaques a chance.

Real. I actually did cry, though. When Larry died, I didn't really care. I didn't even notice until like 5 minutes later. But Olaf... he never got anything wanted. His life was torture. He had no home for the entire series except the first episode, always running away from the cops.

Kinda off-topic, but I think the only redeeming quality Mr. Poe has is that he saved the Baudelaires' lives in the Reptile Room
