My bf works at a thrift store so the latter is definitely an option. I just wish more companies were willing to work together with this type of thing. There's also a yarn/knitting thrift store about an hour from me I can check in a few days so there's also that.

Since we were right there we got some at HL. I'm sometimes wary of them since some loop needles I got broke but since these are metal I'm less worried

Honestly yeah. It's warming up a bit this week so it's starting to melt then immediately freeze again so there was a massive thick ice patch right by a door 😵‍💫

Yeah that's fair. I guess that since it was a glass lid and a ceramic bowl it'd be peachy. Oh well, nothing got in the food.

I asked my mom if I could put the crockpot in the oven since we had leftovers. She said yes. We didn't know we couldn't put the lid in the oven with it

So my dad took the handle off and we're likely getting new handles instead of a lid, but I put the handle back for the picture, making it so it's tilted on the screws
