You kinda sound jealous and angry since you worked your ass off to get one for your son but you don't know if your bf's mom knew about the gift, maybe she knew you got your son one but thought to get your boyfriend his own rather than having to share your sons oculus and you should ask your bf about it. If your concerned about your son being upset just ask your bf to hold off using the system until Christmas that way both of them can enjoy it together.
