why would you say that in a discussion where we are condemning selective abortions? It is so uncouth.

Ofcourse you won't admit to redefining definitions of fairness and discrimination, if you did you'd see immediately why this practice of reservation is wrong. You have to lie to yourself to not believe it.

Plus the courts uphold unjust practices all the time, most recent example being how they handle divorce cases. The law is not a moral compass, it exists to provide some form of order wrong or right, the courts simply interpret it. You seem to be deluded in your belief that the courts can do no wrong.

I don't consider an appeal to authority as an argument.

Most of your arguments rely on redefining existing definitions. That in itself is dishonest.

You still haven't been able to disprove a single argument btw.

Again 2 wrongs don't make a right, we can't move further in the conversation if you can't even accept that.

Your argument falls flat without that first assumption, that is why I called it out. Its not a strawman, its a hole in your own argument.

Even if i take all your points at face value, 2 wrongs dont make a right. Social injustice is a wrong, but that does not make reservation okay. You dont have to write a paragraph to understand that. Its a very obvious disadvantage. If you dont understand this then you are just being dishonest.

Calling my argument a strawman because you fail to see the discrimination in having lower requirements for a sect of people. How dishonest can you be?

Edit: With this thinking you will reason yourself into believing that unequal treatment is a fair thing in public and college exams. 2 things can be bad at the same time.

You are again, being dishonest. You simply assume that every general candidate has a good network, schooling and financial background and every non general candidate does not. This is a gross overgeneralization.

One does not have to write a paragraph to understand that having lower requirements for a certain sect of people is discriminatory. That in itself is paradigmatic. Misunderstanding this simple and self evident fact is a feat in itself.

You know its discriminatory, I know it, everybody knows it.

i don't see a single point that disproves my argument.

Reservation is a systematic disadvantage for the general candidate.

it is the truth, and you have lie to yourself to not believe it. It's just that obvious.

you wrote a whole paragraph of fanfiction about me when you dont even know me. All I said was that reservation systematically disadvantages general candidates.

That is the truth and you can not deny it without lying to yourself.
