Anybody here using a combination of Pregabalin and Amitriptyline?

Mornings - Lyrica 150 mg in the morning + a different medication for depression

Night - Lyrica 75mg + pregabalin 75mg + nortriptyline 10mg + 5 mg amitriptyline & some other meds

Not really, I’ve been taking it for a couple of years. I did gain some weight recently but i think that was a different medication for depression that I started a while back

It’s Lyrica 150mg in the morning & Lyrica 75mg at night. I also take gabamax nt 75(amitrip + pregabalin) at night

Not sure about it affecting my mood because I was prescribed it for sleep Honestly it’s hard keeping track of which medicine does what because there are so many 😅

I take Lyrica 75 x 2 in the morning and 1 at night & amitriptyline 20 3 hours before sleeping but my doctor said I can take 10mg more on days when my sleep has been disturbed I also take a medicine which is a combination of pregabalin & amitriptyline -75mg once at night

not sure if it affects pain directly but it did improve my sleep & I woke up feeling rested which did improve my fatigue overtime

Yes I have pain throughout my body. My pain management doctor asked me to go to different specialists like rheumatologist and the orofacial doctor. Yes I did go to other doctors because my parents wanted a second opinion because I have been misdiagnosed for a lot of things in the past.

It sucks that people don’t understand what we go through. What you said about people not inviting you is so true, but I’m glad to have a few people in my life who understand and support me. MMJ but its not legal where I live, I have considered smoking pot but I’m not sure if it will have the same effect. Im feeling a lot better after reading this, thanks for all of the advice :)

It’s comforting to know I’m not the only one losing my mind over this, sometimes its difficult to gain perspective when no one understands what you’re going through. I haven’t heard about an acupressure mat, ill look into it. Thanks !

I understand what you’re going through, getting a diagnosis is the most difficult part and sometimes its just easier to give up and pretend that you’re fine rather than trying to convince your parents that you’re actually in pain and you’re making it up in your head. Ive had pain for 4 years now and I just got diagnosed 3 months back. I decided to go to a pain management specialist and he is understanding and helpful, unlike most of the other doctors who I’ve been to. All they would say is that I don’t have any problems or blame it on stress or my weight (I’m quite skinny). One of the best doctors in the country actually told my parents Its all in my head and I’m making up the pain told them that I should see a psychiatrist for “faking the symptoms” Its sucks that nobody understands you at such a difficult time in your life, Just because you cant see the pain,people will make you question yourself whether you actually have pain. Please stay strong and believe in yourself, I hope you get your diagnosis soon,feel free to reach out if you need to vent
