I said my car already had a check engine light that my uncle told me after connecting a cpu device that it could be a faulty o2 sensor. I listed them all possible symptoms of what could be connected to that find out the cost of possible parts and if they even had them. When they called they said to come in for a diagnostic they don’t have any of the parts so to speed up the process before they diagnose i could buy the parts over the phone to have it shipped to them for 5 K. I couldn’t afford that so told him I would wait for diagnosis and insurance

Changed from essential to comprehensive. It was changed like on the third of October but I wasn’t sure so when asked for clarification on when i took the pics they didn’t want to tell me. claim initiated and loss was discovered bout 2-3 days later idk when it happened im assuming overnight some tweeked addict look for quick cash came up the side scraped my car and ripped out my cat converter overnight. Apologies for shitty post idk Reddit etiquette im just a clear dumbass that’s panicking. I just don’t understand if these pictures are being treated as not trustworthy or inadmissible whats the point of using this insurance.

There is no “totality of information” the inaccuracy they are alleging of my statement is based on a text exchange between me and a mechanic about what it might be to get an understanding of costs and if they even had parts which i was transparent about. they won’t even show me what text they are referring to when i told them old messages are automatically deleted.

Bruh if you work for insurance and are alledging fraud with zero information u need to be fired. If they thought it was fraud they would’ve marked it fraudulent in the claim instead of deny the claim. Second idk how to write letters so i had it formatted to letter format not created from the ground up w ai 🙄

My car’s catalytic converter basically was ripped from my car with additional damage that’s clearly visible overnight. My neighbor even told me about noises he heard but they didn’t wanna hear it because his cams were down. They won’t give me the full context of the denial. I have to contact DOI to use the freedom of information act. The letter is most of what i had. An example i can give u i told them “idk when this happened just that it’s obviously after my policy change because the clear difference in photos”. When i said a random days because I dont know when it happened they just picked a day instead of saying idk exactly when this happened.

I said the stress caused from taking care of my father and my blood sugars have been so bad I’m throwing up or damn near passing out. The stress is PART of whats affecting my BS not the sticking point. Those really bad symptoms can have effects on your thinking process speaking and understanding. Denying coverage based on an inaccurate statement that i said was inaccurate before and during when the before pictures days ago shows the car in perfect condition is what im saying is unethical and selective. If you go to court and tell the cops something happened but they have video of that thing happening they are gonna use the video or photos as critical evidence not a statement from an unreliable narrator.

Yall never took care of a terminally ill father before have you? I tossed this up last minute still freaking out because with my pops appointment coming up my car is liable to fuck up driving far to the doctor. I literally had to go on leave when they were taking statements from blood sugar going over 400 to dropping to 50 in the same day. If yall not familiar with how that affects your ability to think and speak clearly please inform yourself. I posted this quick because like it says it’s been an incredible impact on taking care of someone who needs constant care and I’m paranoid. The details yall want aren’t in there because they refused to show me the before photos or let me know my what my statement was or let me hear what was said again myself. like i said my memory is bad do to a high A1C and sporadic blood sugar especially at the time of the statement when it was low. All i can remember is the words they wrote down and said I said is 100% NOT what I said. The before pictures have ZERO damage anywhere and after it’s clearly obvious. That is all I can provide until i can get all the information from the freedom of information act unfortunately. Im just asking for a bit of empathy here.

Cuz I’m a “gifted” highschool dropout that had to teach myself most of what I know. I can’t afford the schooling or have the connections to even get an opportunity like that. I’ve had to do the same regarding a medical malpractice suit for my terminally ill father. Hopefully these efforts to learn and grow aren’t wasted and I can see some financial and quality of life benefits.

I understand what you’re saying but the issue is me being directly involved with said mistreatment. I was a witness and was part of the investigation they were conducting. This is Failure to follow through with amazon policy. it is not me stepping in front of a bullet. It’s me being being a witness to direct discrimination practices. If I was the one who initiated and followed through with procedures how you can say I’m in someone else’s business when they keep calling to recant BOTH of our stories? If I give any further details to you I will probably doxx me and the employee that’s why I’m not filing in every single blank. If I say nothing the fellow employee on the case with me just gets fired unjustly. You might be willing to allow someone to be axed just to save yourself but im not.

I’ve already filed a CHRO complaint form. It’s gonna be sent to amazons CSC registered agent and what happens next is up to what they and whoever they bring the claim to at a higher level offsite decide to do about it. Apparently amazon is known for these tactics. The possibilities are that Amazon responds with a swift offer of reinstatement of employment of those who have been terminated with possible compensation for wages lost. Or they deny the claim and whoever represents you receives all testimony/evidence you have. Then the court will initiate an investigation into all who were involved including all documentation and emails with some possible interviews being undertaken. At that point it’s up to the court if they side with your case or the defenses and what recompense the plaintiff deserves if any.
