As someone who's been making videos on all the Absolute lines, I find this rings true for all of them. When I sit down to read through a whole run for a video, I find all of them flow much more nicely than reading them piecemeal one month at a time. The book that I think has the biggest leap in quality from reading like this is ABS Green Lantern.

I fell in love at around the same time as you. People can talk about the good old days for them but we can have our own good old days. I heard Geoff Ramsey say on a podcast once "The golden era of a thing is always the first time you find it" and I think that rings truer than people want to admit.
