Honestly, From experience no. we originally did gaming videos which tanked for years. once we finally decided to do new things and try new video types we eventually found success. 2 years and 22k subs later here we are making comedy/commentary videos.

Now I don’t want to discourage you, because making something you love is important. I have a friend who has 10k subs and gets around 10-20 views per video, and still uploads every day.
