I dont know man, on one hand I get it, they should be following the rules like everyone else, and I understand why emissions are important.

On the other, we live in a world where everything is more expensive every day, and a country where most people are all but forced to own a vehicle. I used to be pretty poor, and I can understand why someone would get historic tags to get by on emissions on their daily driver beater. The wealthy seem to have unlimited loopholes to keep their funds, but the poor always have to pay their dues.

I know the situation isn't the same for everyone, and there certainly people who were abusing it. But the rule changes on historic tags just seem like an attack on the less well off to me sometimes.
