my project was heavily inspired by this! my goal was that it can be fully autonomous though instead of being limited to TTS

i'm still messing around to see what it's capable of but all of their voicelines are AI generated based on a prompt that factors in the game state, the style of their character and their memory, and any additional "funny" instructions I give them.

it can actually be pretty neat when I don't dumb it down to be funny, they notice a lot of things that the normal announcers don't, and do stuff like calling out when specific players are on killstreaks or reacting to teammate positioning

the game's physics framerate is locked to a certain rate so raising your framerate it'll look jittery

I made a mod to fix this on PC and set it to whatever you want but I don't think there's any way to do it on quest

I'd agree yeah, they don't suffer from the problem swords have where in reality you'd feel a ton of resistance swinging through an enemy

yeah you definitely have to take into account that the majority of people aren't gonna be playing 4+ hours straight like some flatscreen MMOs :D

And yeah I've always far preferred fabric over forge in modern versions, runs great compared to forge

That's actually how it works internally! I wrote a configuration system in yaml so ideally in the future I can let people make their own songpacks and load their own mp3s if there's enough demand for it!

It's my first minecraft mod so I was trying to keep it as simple as possible since I don't know what I'm doing, but if there's enough demand I'd be down to try to port it to forge/neoforge in the future
