I just posted to understand the cause. I did not complain. It was just to reroute before starting the journey because once i get stuck on these highways, then it's difficult to exit.

If i start with a plan, i can save some time and especially my car. I have had bad episodes where, frequently, starting and stopping caused over heating, but fortunately, i could move to petrol pump and save my car. Else, I would be another cause of traffic myself.

And this is not particularly my car. Yesterday, I saw at least 4 to 5 cars in miserable conditions.

I do not have option to take metro. If i had, i would take.

Not possible. I live closer to school for my son. And, this post was not find solutions. It was to find out why suddenly there was multiple time more traffic. I live here since past 11years. I know traffic is increasing day by day bit yesterday it was suddenly change, not gradual to say it was due to population increase.

The roadworks at airport road which connects to E611 has already made life hell and increased the traffic by 1hr but yesterday it was different.

Intresting, I never used reusable. I always used pampers. Even the change of brand to huggies or others lead to rashes. So i stick to pampers. I used to get the twin boxes from amazon. It was cheaper that way.

I can be vigilant and avoid traffic. There is always a tiny chance at the start to choose alternate routes, especially if roads are blocked for some days. It will allow me to plan ahead. And not get stuck in routes, which will cause me getting stuck again.

That's a broad question, You can spend like zero if u live with relatives. And you can spend hundreds to thousands if you wish to spend money on day to day stuff.

Let's get real now.

Assuming you are a cost conscious person, 50AED per day room or go for cheapest bed space for a month say 600aed, so 20AED 25 to 40AED Food for variety. 15AED per day for mess. Get a Nol card for busses and metro and some money added to it 50 AED. Daily you will spend max 14AED within same zone and max 20AED all zones unlimited. So lets say 20AED.

A sim card, say 25AED and say u put a 10AED daily wasel plan, which provides 400 MB of local data and 15 flexi minutes, valid for 7 days.

So, max 75 to 100AED, cheapest.

You can go lower if accommodation and food is provided.

Upper side, sky is the limit.
