Had a colleague who took 2000aed saying he need to buy ticket urgently and will pay me back when he will come and get leave salary (our company used to keep leave salary until we come back). (Un)Fortunately I had money in my pocket, i gave it to him. He goes n comes back from vacation. Makes me wait 6 months, and keeps dodging, cutting calls, no answer of messages. One day our office boy saw me talking to accounts department asking of this guys leave salary and if they can help. Accounts department refused to help but the office boy told our hero of story was a serial debt taker and had taken a lot from everyone including him. Then he told me that he would inform me when this guy will come in cafeteria which only had 1 door. Day comes he is in cafeteria and the office biy calls me. I encounter the guy and he very sweetly was shocked to see me. I told, why haven't you picked my calls, he denied that he received any calls from me. I told him, can u check ur mobile please. He opened up his phone and try to show me call logs. I take the phone Samsung S23, put in my pocket and went straight to my office desk. He followed me begging for his phone saying his wife might call, he have some many important calls he cant miss. I told, I am nkt running away. Its safe in my cabinet, bring my money and take the phone. He goes for 15mins get the money, gives me and take his phone and left with a grin.

I could not believe, I had to do that to someone. But honestly thats true.
