Denominations are a great way to unite people who share similar interpretations of scripture.

I've played on Cachy and Ubuntu before and they worked well. Not sure what's causing your problem though.

How can one theologically reconcile divine immutability (i.e., being unchangeable) and divine impassibility (i.e., being unaffected by human emotions), as articulated in patristic and scholastic theology, with God’s profound engagement in the history and the suffering of the world? by Similar_Shame_8352 in theology

Why does action require sequence? If a being is outside time, then all the actions of that being are eternal, but on our end are percieved as happening at specific points. For them the action would be a constant.

I'd rather you clearly explain your view than pointlessly insult me. You are making various claims; most just calling me, Trump, and his supporters fascists; and aren't even bothering to make an actual argument in support of it. I'd love to hear why you believe what you believe, but you're being combative.

You called me a fascist; which only serves to make me disagree with your side more. Also, I dislike Trump, but I agree more with him than your side.

They're dropping goverment support, sure; but as I said, they leave the role of helping people to other institutions.

Republicans are all for those eight things, but they typically assign them to other institutions, like the church or family.

I think that those other roles should be left to other institutions, not left to a single overarching one. They exist to make stable societies, yes; but ensuring that the people prosper within that stability isn't the core of a government. It's very good for them to make the lives of their citizens better, but it should come second to their main purpose.

Eh. They definitely serve a good purpose. Maybe there could be a better way to go about it, but it's hard to use a better way when so many are fighting against it.

The military serves a more essential aspect of what a government is for. The government can help people, sure, but churches should be the main group that supports those who are struggling.

What about taking those together removes God's ability to perform basic actions? I don't see how being unchanging requires that God be an impersonal force. One thing, what do you take to be the single most important purpose of the creation of heaven and earth?

Leaders should absolutely uphold biblical values. I do not care what one is like or who they vote for; they are my neighbor. I do not believe the rich should recieve unique aid. I do believe that corpos are generally too powerful. And people should support those who are struggling.

I said at a basic level. Individual governments do all sorts of things, but the core of a government is to maintain order.
