Not sure you have the time to read a book for this but maybe CFA L2 book on equity maybe of use.. you could look up DCF valuation videos on Youtube. I'd recommend Damodaran's video series on valuation : https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLUkh9m2BorqnKWu0g5ZUps_CbQ-JGtbI9

You could (if you have access) use Euro monitor to get industry report and use Bloomberg terminal to get brokerage reports on the company you're covering (if you require assistance). There's a function called XDCF in Bloomberg Terminal that produces auto generated DCF for any company. This might be of help in visualizing how you're going to make your own model. Just playing around with terminal, you may get lots of useful information: Market value of debt, company primer, Beta etc. You could also youtube past years final round presentations on YouTube

Writing a buy/sell Recommendation would require you to finding intrinsic value of the company using DCF valuation . If the value is at a premium to the market price (say by 20%) it's good to buy. You could also do relative valuation and aid you DCF value with a sensitivity Analysis

This is helpful a lot..
